As an M.S. in Communication degree student, you must take a minimum of 36.00 hours of course work. Within those hours are 9.00 hours of required Core Courses that provide a strong foundation for your work in the program.
To provide focus and personalization to your degree, you may choose from Communication graduate-level electives (numbered from 500 – 699). You may also register for advisor-approved courses in other NC State University departments and at our partner universities within the Inter-Institutional Program to further enhance your degree.
